My book, 'Print it!', is now available in paperback! I'm very excited about this and hope that I can introduce some rookies to the delights of surface decoration. I thought I'd mention a couple of the projects from the book here just to whet your appetite.

A very simple way to make a gorgeous picture. The materials you'll need can be found in most households and your local art shop will provide you with the rest. It's all explained in the book with a step-by-step guide and lots of pictures. If you print directly onto an artist's canvas you don't even need to frame the finished piece.

THE TEA TOWEL PROJECT is super easy. You'll need printing ink and some rigid card for the stencils. We've included templates so if you're not sure what design to start with, use those. Spongeing ink through a stencil is a simple technique to master and a successful outcome is pretty much guaranteed. Again, follow the step-by-step instructions and don't forget to breathe!

I did spend a lot of time during the summer working with the publishers finalising details for the book. I hope we've covered everything and would love to hear your feedback. Happily there was also time for the garden. It needs extra attention in the summer and I'm very happy with that. My Gardener's design cushion came

from my love of all things gardening. Tools, veggies, birds, flowers, they're all lovely and best of all is my shed. I loved the smells in my Dad's shed; old wood and stored apples, sacks of potatoes, oily rags and dusty string. My shed has more style and less content but I do love it just the same.

I've been developing new designs over the summer and as I needed to add these to the website we've freshened up that too. My luscious Antique Pink has finally joined the colour range and I've added a little bit of background info on the stories of the collections.  Take a look and let me know what you think.
